I forgot to take pictures on Saturday afternoon and evening, but we had a massage therapist, Tami, who spent over 10 hours taking care of our weary necks, shoulders, and backs!  I can't tell you how much I enjoyed my time with Tami.  She was AMAZING!!!!

We enjoyed a game of darts!  Break the balloon and read the note inside.  Lots of great prizes from Scraptique, Close To My Heart, and a FREE Weekend Crop!

Classes and Create & Take projects were a big hit.  Venia offered some small group instructions using our Cricut machines too!  What could be better than that?

Space Robot Party!

Even though I'm not in party-planning mode this time of year (thankfully. ..because I exhaust myself!) I put together this little space-robot party ensemble because this sweet little robot was just BEGGING to be added to party decorations.  I created an invitation, a straw decoration, and a little goodie bag.  Little treat bags are so irresistible, and they are so easy to find. (The party aisle at ANY store is a dangerous place!!!!)

This project came together so quickly, thanks to the Outta This World stamp set, with coordinating Cricut Artiste cartridge.
To create the straw embellishment, I simply adhered the stamped/diecut robot with adhesive foam dots.  (And added some jewels, for a little pizzazz!)

This stamp set has everything you need to create an invitation, thank you notes, and party decorations galore! Have a BLAST!

So thankful . . .

Hello 2013!!! I've been away from the blog for FAR too long, but I'm here with a card today!  I used the Love Blooms stamp set to create this flower.  I stamped it a few times on patterned paper, trimmed sections of it, and adhered it together with foam tape.  Then I scuffed up the edges a bit, and bent it up for some extra dimension.  I stamped the sentiment from A Friend Like You.  This is a great little stamp set - you can use the different sections together on the front of the card, or use the second half of each sentiment on the inside. (I'm pretty bad about finishing the INSIDE of cards - I just sort of forget about the poor plain inside most of the time!)
This little paper bag that I found in my stash of STUFF is the perfect size for a gift card or extra little note.  But its completely acceptable to put NOTHING in it too.  It's just part of the character or the card.  :)  (At least that's MY opinion!)

I hope your 2013 is off to a TERRIFIC crafty start! I hope to be back soon with NEW goodies to share from the NEW catalog. . .but I do have one other project to share with you next week, in the meantime! See you SOON!
xoxo
Laura,
